Sacha Dyson is a Partner.  Sacha represents businesses and education institutions in labor and employment, education, housing, and other civil rights disputes.

While in law school, Sacha served as the Executive Editor of the Stetson Law Review from 2000 to 2001 and graduated in the top ten percent of her class.  She also served as a teaching fellow in the Legal Writing Clinic and an intern to the Honorable Elizabeth A. Kovachevich, United States District Judge.  She received writing awards for the best Stetson Law Review competition paper and the best written criticism of a decision of the United States Supreme Court as well as the high grade awards in Federal Courts & Section 1983 Litigation; Wills, Trusts & Estates; Federal Income Tax I; and Real Property I.  Sacha also was named Outstanding Editor of the Stetson Law Review, and she was awarded the Chesterfield Smith Endowed Scholarship.

From 2001 to 2003, Sacha served as a law clerk to United States Magistrate Judge Howard T. Snyder, and from 2003 to 2005, she served as a law clerk to then United States Magistrate Judge Marcia Morales Howard.  Thereafter, in November 2005, she joined Thompson, Sizemore, Gonzalez & Hearing, P.A.  In July 2007, she returned to serve as a law clerk to Judge Marcia Morales Howard, who had been recently confirmed as a United States District Judge.  At the conclusion of her clerkship, in February 2009, Sacha rejoined the Firm.  Sacha has published the following articles:  Adventures in Babysitting:  The Supreme Court Extends Sarbanes-Oxley Protection to Certain Household Employees and Employees of Contractors (The Checkoff, The Florida Bar Labor & Employment Section, May 2014); Case Notes, District Courts (The Checkoff, The Florida Bar Labor & Employment Section, December 2013); My Sandbox or Yours?  Enforcement of Forum-Selection Clauses in Employment Agreements (The Federal Lawyer, Nov/Dec 2011).  Sacha has been a speaker at numerous labor and employment law related seminars for The Florida Bar and American Bar Association.

Sacha is a member of Constitutional Judicial Committee and Publications Subcommittee for The Florida Bar, the Young Lawyers Division, Law Week Committee for the Hillsborough County Bar Association and the Pro Se Assistance Subcommittee of the Bench and Bar Fund for the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida.  Sacha is also a member of the Tampa Chapter of Federal Bar Association, the Tampa Bay Inn of Court, and the Hillsborough Association of Women Lawyers.  She also is a member of the Propeller Club, the Special Events Subcommittee for the Alpha House of Tampa and the Tampa Connection Class of 2012.

Sacha was selected as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2011 and 2012 as well as a Super Lawyer in 2013 and 2014.  Sacha was listed as an “Up and Comer” by Florida Trend for 2014.
